Genel Energy PLC (LON:GENL) has received payment from the Kurdistan Regional Government for oil sales during November 2020.
The operator of the Taq Taq field in Kurdistan said the Taq Taq partners have received a gross payment of US$3.8mln, of which Genel will pocket US$2.1mln.
At the Tawke field, the partners have received a gross payment of US$38.5mln; Genel’s net share of the payment is US$9.4mln.
Genel said sales from the Sarta field will be included in invoices relating to December 2020 onwards.

Shares in Genel were up 1.3% at 144.4p.
