Mode Global looks to disrupt global payment and crypto markets

Mode will be listed as an option at the checkout on the online retailer’s Ingenuity platform ahead of schedule after an accelerated launch.

Chief executive Ryan Moore said: “Consumers can pay via Mode, and accrue instant Bitcoin rewards which they can safely store via our trusted, FCA-registered app.

“This marks a step forward in delivering on our aim to make Bitcoin accessible to all and put it in the hands of as many people as possible.

Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE) joined CryptoUK, the UK’s trade association for the digital asset industry, where it said it will be able to drive greater dialogue with regulators and policymakers to help accelerate mainstream adoption.

CryptoUK is a self-regulatory trade association established to promote higher standards of conduct in the cryptocurrency industry, help create fit for purpose regulation and ensure the UK maintains its position as a global crypto leader.

Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE, FRA:MOC) said its interim results marked a ‘significant milestone’ as the Bitcoin and open banking fintech firm turned a profit after hitting key milestones.

The group moved to a gross profit margin of 19% and ended the period with a strong balance sheet including GBP5.7mln of cash.
