Saturna Capital, a US based investment company, has partnered with HANetf, an independent exchange traded fund (ETF) specialist, to launch an actively managed Islamic ETF with economic, social, governance (ESG) focus.
Focused on Islamic-compliant stocks with positive ESG characteristics, the Saturna Al-Kawthar Global Focused Equity UCITS ETF, trading under ticker AMAL, will launch via the HANetf platform.
Saturna, which has 31 years of Islamic investing experience, has ensured the ETF complies with the principles of Islamic investing.
The ETF aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in 30-40 Shariah-compliant, high quality, positive ESG companies.
